WWE Plans Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley for January
WWE fans were shocked when ‘The Beast Incarnate” won the Day 1 main-event, defeating Big E and Seth Rollins, to regain the WWE Championship. This slight shift in direction has opened the door to the long-awaited dream bout between Bobby Lashley and former UFC Fighter Lesnar.
Dave Meltzer confirmed these plans, stating that they have the seeds for a title fight between them shortly. This will be the first time the two WWE superstars have ever fought each other, despite being compared more than any other wrestler.
Both of these superstars have a solid background in pro wrestling and MMA. It will be interesting to see how the match unfolds. It is safe to say that WWE will most likely have this match ready for the Royal Rumble event at January’s end.
The plans for the three other superstars in the match (including Big E) are still in flux. Let’s hope tonight’s RAW episode gives everyone some direction as we head into the biggest WWE events of the year.
