Treasure Hunts is an event type that’s tied with ruined settlements Total War 2 and acts as an alternative to conquering these areas. They open a new window which eventually leads to a puzzle, where players must find the correct solutions.
Although treasure hunting in Total War: Warhammer 2 is possible at sea, these cases do not involve puzzles. However, they can be quite interesting in their own right.
Total War: Warhammer 2 Treasure Hunt Puzzle Solution
Total War: Warhammer 2 currently features a total of four puzzle types that players can encounter when going treasure hunting and we’ve described the solutions for each of them below.
Rubric for the Old Ones
This puzzle is based on Total War: Warhammer 2 Treasure Hunt. It consists of a series of squares made from stone, each with its own symbol. The solution is as simple as choosing from the four options the symbol that does not repeat in the image.
A cuboid of Old Ones
This puzzle shows a collection of cubes with a question mark on each side. It is part of the Total War: Warhammer 2 Treasure Hunt puzzle.
You need to determine which symbol should replace question marks. Look at the symbols adjacent to the question mark to find the answer.
The same symbols will also be found on the other cubes. This should help you find the answer.
Dial the Old Ones
This Total War: Warhammer 2 Treasure Hunt Puzzle is a more complex puzzle. It revolves around an image that has two coloured circles.
To find the answer, you will need to use your imagination and connect the coloured lines when the circles are in the correct positions.
This is because you can’t rotate the circles in-game. When the inner circle has its mouth at the bottom, it is in the correct position.
It’s then a matter of connecting the lines as the middle circle turns. Only lines of one colour connect, which leads to the series of symbols that form the solution. You must choose the symbol you want.
Cypher for the Old Ones
You will be looking at the fourth Treasure Hunt puzzle, which has four columns and four lines. It also has coloured dots and a question mark on its tiles.
You will need to determine the number and colour of dots that should be used to replace the question mark in order to find the answer.
It is essentially a Sudoku-style puzzle. Each row and column cannot have the same number or the same colour tiles.
Each tile can have up to four dots with the colours yellow, purple, red or red. This is easiest to solve by eliminating the dots in the row and columns of the question mark.
