Snoop Dogg will be playing Duty: Warzone as a playable operator. No, really.

Let it sink in for a moment: Call Of Duty is adding to its roster the rapper behind hits like ‘Drop It Like it’s Hot’ and ‘Sexual Eruption.

ZestyLeaks, a prominent Call of Duty leaker, has revealed that Mr Dogg will be heading to the battle royale in its forthcoming Season Two update. I’m not surprised Warzonenow has crossovers and cameos with everything from Attack On Titan to SAW.

Gaming is not something Snoop Dogg is unfamiliar with. He’s been a regular streamer on Twitch, when he can get his sound to work, and he has also appeared in many video games. True Crime, Streets Of LA and Tekken Tag Tournament II are just a few titles that featured the legendary rapper. Call Of Duty, Ghosts is another. Warzone will be the latest in an extensive line of titles.

This news is strange, coming days after the Warzonedevelopers admitted during a conference call with content creators that is in a terrible state right now.

The team apparently is not happy with Warzone‘s current state. They explained that they have “learned to the highest limits of technology” in integrating newer Call Of Duty Games into the battle royale. They promised that fixes would be forthcoming, and that will drop inSnoop Dogg.
