March 2022: Free PS Plus Games
PS Plus subscribers receive three games each month to download and keep on their PlayStation console. All games are available on PS5, but one round is exclusive to the PS5. This means that only current-generation PS4 users can access the games. We don’t mind monthly freebies. Let’s now see which titles are available for you (virtually) in March 2022.
All month’s PS Plus games – March 2022
Two PS4-compatible PS Plus PS4 games will take you from prehistoric lands like ARK: Survival Evolved to the fast-paced tracks of Team Sonic Racing. PS5 owners will also pick up Ghostrunner, a cyberpunk slasher.
ARK: Survival Evolved (PS4 & PS5)
As a tribute to the Horizon series’, ARK: Survival Evolved is March’s first free PS Plus game. Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden west are similar in gameplay, so ARK is likely a good choice for you. You will need to gather resources, craft equipment, and survive in a prehistoric world populated by mythical creatures and dinosaurs.
Team Sonic Racing (PS4 & PS5)
Team Sonic Racing offers a more exciting experience than the primitive survival of ARK. It is designed for people who want to thrive in a hostile environment. You can pedal to the metal as your favorite Sonic the Hedgehog characters like Sonic, Knuckles, and Amy. Anyone who has played any character-based team racing games like Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing will be familiar with Team Sonic Racing.
Ghostrunner (PS5)
You can finally get down and dirty with the bloody slasher Ghostrunner. You will be Jack the Ghostrunner and take Mara the Keymaster, the evil tyrant. Ghostrunner is available only to PS5 owners. Ghostrunner is not available for PS4 owners.
These are the free games you get with your PS Plus subscription, and they will be available for download starting March 1, 2022.
