I would like Claude to kiss a man in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
In 2019, I didn’t manage to finish Fire Emblem 3 Houses. It was a great game. But, when the Switch game’s middle point occurred, I was distracted by other things. While the strategy RPG is still elusive, my attention has shifted to Fire Emblem Warriors. I have one question. Since this Musou spinoff appears to be an alternate timeline to the original, can Claude ever kiss a boy?
One thing that really took the wind out of my sails in Fire Emblem was the fact that a male protagonist couldn’t woo the Golden Deer leading men Claude. felt more like a betrayal than anything else because the character treated both versions of Byleth the same way up to the point where he kissed his lips. Three Hopes an adventure game that takes place in an alternate timeline. Byleth plays a more mysterious (possibly antagonistic?) role and Shez is the main character. She can either be a man or woman, depending on the choice made by the player. While there is no reason to believe that the game will bring back romance mechanics from the original game, I would love for Shez to kiss Claude and the Golden Deer leader in order to become the bisexual king he was meant to be. While it will be painful for the people who shipped Byleth or Claude, at least Claude will live his truth.

My whining about a three-year-old game aside; the most recent trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors puts a spotlight upon Shez and their decision to join one of the three factions at centre of Three Housesconflict. The original game’s decision on which side to take will have different characters and result in a different story. If the player wants to keep it more consistent with their Three houses playthrough, Byleth will be involved in some way.
