While they wait for Baldur’s Gate3 seems endless, their 2023 release means that we still have one year to wait. Magic the Gathering has made the wait a bit more bearable. The Battle for Baldur’s Gate set is one of the latest set releases. Dungeons and Dragons storytelling meets Magic‘s most social format for a new cross-platform multiplayer experience. This set revolves around the Commander format. Every Commander game becomes an adventure filled with D&D characters, spells, and more. This set also features some familiar faces from Baldur’s Gate, including characters from the forthcoming Baldur’s Gate 3 game, as well as others from the past.

Battle for Baldur’s Gate Cards

Many of the Battle for Baldur’s Gate Cards are reprints from Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, a D&D-based set. The Baldur’s Gate characters are more prominent, with a few familiar faces among the Legendary Creatures. Each companion has had their own creature card and an accompanying card.

Well, a Warlock in servitude to the fiendess Mizoram is also part of the set.

They’re back as the fan favourite duo, but this time they are planeswalkers.

We will continue to wait anxiously for new updates on the long-awaited Baldur’s Gate 3. However, this content might ease the wait a bit. The new set will be available June 10.
