You cannot also get a subscription through PlayStation Plus. Subscriptions are an optional option that grants you bonuses such as additional account space usage, crowns per month spent on the digital shop, and other benefits. If you are interested in the rewards, you can purchase them whenever you like.
Last but not least, ESO is free for those who wish to play the game. These usually occur in Spring, around the end of the expansion patches. This allows players to see the entire chapter and gives them a sense of excitement for the future.
