PlayStation Plus Subscribers Hail Latest Freebie As New Favourite Game
The new PlayStation Plus is finally here in most areas of the world. Despite some issues, most people seem to love the further tiers.
PlayStation Plus Premium has been the star of the show. We can all remember a simpler age with its collection of classic PlayStation and PlayStation 2 titles. This is an essential thing to do in 2022. PS Plus Extra is not to be overlooked. It offers a few awesome PS5 exclusives that many new-gen owners have not had the opportunity to purchase yet, as they cannot afford PS70 for every new title.
One of those games is Returnal, the excellent AAA roguelike/third-person shooter that initially launched back in 2021. The game received a 9/10 from me at the time. I called it a “phenomenal PS5 showcase,” and I stand by those words. There hasn’t been a better example of the versatility of the DualSense controller when imaginative developers use it.
PS Plus Extra has opened up a new market for Returnal, and I’m so grateful.

Another user commented, “It’s an unbelievable game.” After the first difficulty curve, people gave up. It’s a great game once you learn the basics and have good builds. When you are done, I highly recommend arena mode. It was a great experience.
Another person agreed and noted they were interested in PS Plus Extra for Ghost Of Tsushima and Demon’s Souls. However, they were surprised to learn that Returned was the surprise hit they hadn’t seen coming.
