Crypt of the NecroDancer, a hardcore rhythm game for roguelikes, has won numerous awards. You can move to the music or beatdown to the beat. You can groove to the Danny Baranowsky soundtrack or your own MP3 collection. While there have been many rogue-like games over the years, this one is by far the best. It is a strangely original concept, it is beautiful art, and the music is amazing. The whole package looks incredible at first glance.

You’re only starting out and you just have to fumble around, get hit by enemies, and then you fall apart. You’ll soon be able, with enough practice, to handle any situation without getting hurt.
