Inspired by true events, Black Years is place in 1953 Tehran, Iran. Tehran is in the grip of panic after a string of gruesome murders. Important Afshar has been tasked with locating those responsible. Meanwhile, several 3,300 miles off from London, an undercover journalist is given documents that discover a conspiracy of seismic proportions. As both the Major and the journalist delve deeper, their paths will cross, strategies for a coup will probably be discovered and Western government participation is going to be exposed. In an endeavor to ensure the rights to Iran’s petroleum, both the American and British authorities covertly backed a coup which over-threw the democratically elected government of Mohammad Mosaddegh.
