Gibson, a pro-life game developer, took to Twitter following the Texas Senate 8 Abortion Bill. Gibson’s support for anti-abortion during the recent heat generated a fierce backlash. The Tripwire-published Chivalry 2 received a lot of praise. However, Gibson’s view on Roe V. Wade was not. Gibson’s statement was discussed in over 25k tweets at the time. However, several studios that have worked with Tripwire disassociated themselves from the tweet. Gibson’s motivation to share the opinion seems to have been due to the number of “vocal peers” on the other side.
