Destiny 2 Reed’s Regret Guide – Reed’s Regret God Roll and How to Get It

Destiny2 Season of the Lost has arrived, and we’re headed back to The Dreaming City. This season is a prologue for The Witch Queen expansion. It revolves around Savathun’s escape from the worm god to save Osiris. Players can also get new armor, weapons, exotics, and in-game consumables as part of seasonal activity. Stasis Legendary weapons are a new season addition that can be rolled with special perks specific to this subclass. Reed’s Regret, a linear fusion rifle, is one of these firearms. This legendary linear fusion rifle is tied to Trials of Osiris. This is how you can get this weapon and which perks it will offer.

How to get Reed’s regret

Reed’s Regret can only be obtained from Trials of Osiris. To add this firearm to your Trials of Osiris loot, you will need to unlock it first. You can earn Trials of Osiris Emblems by completing vendor rank-up packages or as an end-of-match reward if you have seven wins on a particular card. These are the best ways to earn Trials of Osiris Engrams. Regardless of whether you were flawless or not, seven wins on a card will enable you to begin obtaining them after matches. As long as you win matches using a card with seven wins, you have a good chance of earning one of these engrams.

Once you have a Trials of Osiris Engram, go to The Tower and show it to the Cryptarch. If you already have the Trials of Osiris loot, it should decrypt into The Reed’s Regret. If you don’t have most of this PVP mode’s loot unlocked, you might need to decrypt multiple Engrams before the Reed Regret appears. Once you have the gun, you can focus your Trials of Osiris engrams on Saint-14 to ensure you get the linear fusion rifle every time. As a final reward, you will be able to obtain the Adept variant Reed’s Regret. This weapon is not yet a flawless reward but will likely be at future Trials of Osiris weekends.

  • Arrowhead Brake
  • Liquid Coils and Enhanced Batteries
  • Triple Tap
  • Vorpal Weapon or Firing Line

There’s a perk pool that offers boss-focused DPS a chance to grab a god-roll Reed’s Regret. There are many options for barrel slots, but Arrowhead Brake is my favorite because it offers a +30 to recoil and _10 to handling. This makes it much easier to hit the critical headshots, which is crucial for this particular role. For the battery, I recommend either Liquid Coils (or Enhanced Battery). The latter will give you more damage per unit, while the former will boost your overall damage output. Triple Tap is a great enhancement that will give you a few more shots.

Triple Tap is our primary perk, as it allows us to deal consistent damage to both static targets and beefier foes such as Champions. This combo is well with Vorpal Weapon or Firing Line. Firing Line is my favorite if you are looking for the raid- or boss damage in Endgame. If you can trigger Firing Line, this perk will allow you to do an incredible amount of damage to your enemy. Solo players may want to hunt Vorpal Weapon as it will be more useful in most situations.

Reed’s Regret PVP god Roll

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling and Corkscrew Rifling
  • Accelerated Coils
  • Heating up
  • Adagio or Rampage

There are a few options when it comes to PVP. We are choosing either Hammer-Forged Rifling or Corkscrew Rifling for our barrel. Corkscrew Rifling is my favorite of the two. It gives us an increase in range, handling, stability, and overall quality. Hammer-Forged Rifling is better suited for those who prefer range to everything. Accelerated Coils are a great option for the battery. They reduce the charge time and allow us to pick off enemies before they run into cover. The slightly lower Impact won’t matter as much since a headshot will kill them.

This is where things get tricky. There are some great PVP perks that you can use with this gun. To narrow it down, Quickdraw or Heating up are my favorite options for this gun. You get 6 shots when you grab the Heavy Ammo. This means that we can kill quite many Guardians before switching to a primary. I recommend Heating Up to help with this. It will improve our accuracy, stability, recoil control, and precision when we kill someone. This ability should allow us to take down multiple enemies with ease. Quickdraw, however, is a perk that doesn’t require killing. To do more damage, I recommend Adagio or Rampage in the last slot. Adagio, if active, is particularly nasty because it allows us to one-shot another person in the body.
