Farming Simulator22 will allow players to take care of crops and animals. It also allows for forestry, as well as online multiplayer, which will be available later in the year. crossplay and multi-platform support can make life on a farm lonely.

Crossplay in Farming Simulator 22 would allow you to share some of your farm work with a friend regardless of platform. You could also find yourself in endless arguments about how you drive, trying to fit your tractor between the grape rows. This is what we know so far about Giants Software’s cross-platform support for its upcoming title.

Cross-platform support for Farming Simulator 22 wasn’t listed on Steam’s launch page. We spoke to the developer at August’s Gamescom preview and learned that the answer to the question of whether or not FS22 was getting crossplay was a resounding yes.

Giants Software later in September confirmed that FS22 cross-platform support would be available at launch.

Crossplay allows virtual farmers to play Farming Simulator 22 together without any restrictions. It enables fans to join each other’s experiences platform-independent, and enjoy the creative freedom of cooperative farming together,” the developer said in an emailed press release.

Farming Simulator 22 will be released on November 22. It is available for PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
