WARHAMMER 40: SPACE 2 RELEASE DATE. – WHAT DO WE KNOW?
Developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment have revealed Warhammer40,000: Space Marine2 at The Game Awards 2021. A cinematic trailer confirms Captain Titus’ return. While release dates are unknown, it appears that the sequel will build upon the foundations laid by the 2011 entry and introduce a new enemy.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 features players unleashing the Emperor’s might on hordes Tyranids who, in the trailer, are seen attacking an imperial capital.
Mark Strong will not be reprising his role as Captain Titus in Space Marine leadership. Clive Standen, who you may recognize from the Vikings TV Series, will voice the role.
You can also watch the announcement trailer below. Titus uses his jump pack to crash into a Tyranid pack, blasts them away with his bolter, and then slashes through them using the Space Marines’ iconic chainsword.
We also see a destroyed but still magnificent imperial city. However, we might end up traveling beyond it since the blurb on the publisher’s website mentions epic battles on distant planets. “
While Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has yet to be released, it is good to know that a sequel will soon follow a decade of delays. While the original was not without faults, it earned the title “one of 2011’s greatest surprises” after reviewing its contents.
