A mainline Zelda title has been delayed once again
Nintendo has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will not be released until Spring 2023. Eiji Aonuma, the series producer, gave a short update in a video after Nintendo had previously stated that it would arrive in 2022.
Legend of Zelda 2: Breath of the Wild 2 Delayed into Spring 2023
Aonuma explained that he apologized to viewers who had been waiting for a release. Then he goes on to recap Breath of the Wild 2’s sequel. He also shows some Master Sword footage. The full video is available below.
It’s disappointing news for Zelda lovers, but it follows a trend of main entries being delayed. We’ll keep you informed with any further information as we go. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023.
