Dead By Daylight has been an amazing game. It’s now 23 chapters in, with more than a few scary baddies, and it continues to grow. Many fans were expecting a huge crossover with horror royalty. Dead By Daylight is boldly taking a different and unique approach. We know what Roots of Dread are, in the next chapter.
Only a few weeks away, Dead By Daylight Chapter 24 Roots of Dread will finally launch on the 7th of June. Along with the new release, players will also find The Garden Of Joy, charming family home with a sinister tonal tone. The map revolves around the house and includes a large garden and forested area. This will allow you to hide from The Dredge (chapter 24’s new creature).
Chapter 24 of Dead By Daylight – Roots of Dread
It is a manifestation of the town’s collective evil and a twisting madcap mess of limbs incarnate. It is described as a “monster beneath the bed” and designed to catch survivors and hide, then disappear to go on the hunt again. It has a unique ability that can teleport between locations to capture survivors. This monster is for you if you feel a bit too safe with Dead By Daylight.
You now have a survivor to assist you. Haddie Kaur, an Indian-born woman living in Quebec, was raised by close friends after her parents were killed in a car accident. You may have noticed her name in the archives. There’s a reason. She’s touched the paranormal, and she lived to tell the story. She is intelligent and brave, and she is ready to face the killers.
This series is taking a bold step by creating a completely new setting and a killer. It is possible that we will see more of it if it does well.
