Electronic Arts’ Star Wars-themed gaming offerings were limited for a time. 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a refreshing start after Battlefront’s mistakes. It proved that single-player action-adventure video games still have a loyal following. Fans often discuss Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2’s launch date or Survival.
After the success of the original, it’s not hard to see why. It was great looking, it sounded great and had lightsabers. It introduced a new character, and it was well before the much-maligned trilogy ending the Skywalker saga. Darth Vader made an appearance as well, which could make the sequel even more exciting. This is what we know about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s launch date.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Release Day
Electronic Arts has confirmed to us that Respawn Entertainment is working on a sequel to 2019.
Stig Asmussen, Game Director, is leading the team that is currently working on the next installment in the series. The publisher confirmed in May 2022 that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was the sequel and that its release date has been set for 2023.

The sequel takes place five years after the events in the original. It follows Cal Kestis (one of the last Jedi) as he is pursued by the Empire.
In its Q4-2022 financial reports, the publisher previously revealed that it has four titles for Q4 2023. Two of these titles are called “Major IP” or “Partner Title”.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was technically announced at that time, which could indicate that it is not one of the four Star Wars games. It is unlikely that it will be released before the second half 2023, based on all we know.
GamesBeat’s Jeff Grubb confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survival is the major IP. It would be released sometime in the fourth quarter, or before March 31, 2023.
