Bungie is Developing a New Destiny Game.
The listing for a Senior Content Artist position is thanks to TheGamePost, which states that the job involves working on “new games” and not on content for Destiny2. According to the job description, the hired person would be expected to “continually push aesthetics in the Destiny universe” and have “experience with and passion for competitive games” as a preferred skill. While the job description isn’t particular, it does indicate that Bungie is working on something in the Destiny universe. This would be a competitive game and not Destiny 2. It seems unlikely that Bungie would want to create a Destiny 3 that moves on. Therefore, it is most likely the game is a spin-off. We’ll have to wait and watch.
Destiny 3or it may not, it seems like it will have some living elements and working on concept art for “guns and characters, armours, vehicles [and] environments.” The listing also mentions that the artist would assist with “seasonal arts needs,” which could refer to seasonal content updates.

A new game is not in the works, but Destinyfans have plenty of video games. Destiny2 is currently in the Season of the Haunted, which will run until August 23. You can find more information about that in the calendar guide. If you are a true Destinysicko looking for regular updates on the game’s status, visit Fanbyte Destiny2hub.
