The Last Of Us creator officially teases new game
There’s no way to tell if there is a great deal of excitement regarding the next step Uncharted or The Last of Us studio, Naughty Dog will do the next time around. A recent statement by Neil Druckmann has set the goal extremely high.
The bar will never be extremely high about Naughty Dog’s the critically-acclaimed films like Uncharted as well as The Last of Us. In an interview that was recently conducted with Sony, the quote caused a mixed response from gamers led to Druckmann saying that he was misinterpreted.
Naughty Dog has subtly teased it is likely that The Last of Us Part III will be out at a certain date, however, we aren’t sure when it’ll release. PlayStation 5 or next-gen release. If the upcoming post-apocalyptic clicker-infested sequel is a ground-breaking release remains to be determined.
In the quote above, which was removed from context, Duckmann said: “I’m eager to see how this new game resonates, especially following the success of The Last of Us, as it could redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming.”
We can certainly come to believe that, whether the game is Uncharted, The Last of Us, or something completely new, Naughty Dog’s next game will be a game of a different kind in the world of video games.
In a post on Twitter, Druckmann shared a full version of the quote that was used during the Sony interview. Because of his long and windy replies in the interview, the Naughty Dog co-president says the interview was edited to make it easier for him to quote.

Sure, Druckmann and his team can be confident that their games can knock the ball off the field as they have previously proved. It’s also fair to suggest that Druckmann’s “redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming” observation wasn’t nearly the arrogance some think.
As of the writing of this article, Naughty Dog hasn’t announced the release date for The Last of Us Part III or when there will be a brand new Uncharted game shortly.
