The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Gets Patch 2.0.1 to Fix Unlockable Items Issue

*Naughty Dog* has released Patch 2.0.1 for *The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered* on PlayStation, addressing a major issue with unlockable items that emerged after the previous update. The issue, which caused players to lose progress on campaign unlockables like skill points and an additional weapon holster, has now been fixed.

The problem arose after the release of Patch 2.0.0, which accompanied the highly anticipated PC launch of the remaster on April 3, 2025. While the update added new content, including characters, maps, and trophies, it also led to the loss of unlockables for some players.

Patch 2.0.1 restores the missing items, but the fix only applies if players load a save created before April 3, 2025. Players who overwrote their saves after that date may still be unable to recover their unlockables.

The remastered PC version of *The Last of Us Part 2* has launched successfully with positive reviews, unlike its predecessor’s rocky PC release. With *The Last of Us Season 2* set to air on April 13, 2025, the game’s new PC launch could see a boost in interest, especially with the success of other video game adaptations.
