Marvel Rivals Season 2 Adds New PC Feature to Improve FPS on Low-RAM Systems
NetEase Games is introducing a new PC feature in *Marvel Rivals* Season 2 aimed at helping players with performance issues. The upcoming season, launching on April 11 at 4:00 AM ET, will include an experimental option called **Switch Shader Compilation Mode** designed to improve frame rates on PCs with 16GB of RAM or less.
This new mode compiles most shaders after launching the game, following a content update or graphics driver change. By frontloading the process, it reduces in-game stutters and FPS drops caused by high memory usage on lower-end systems.
While helpful for performance, NetEase warns that players may see brief texture glitches or stutters during matches, especially if using a 6-core CPU with AMD FSR3 Frame Generation enabled.
Season 2, titled **Hellfire Gala**, introduces Emma Frost as a new Vanguard hero, along with her X-Revolution outfit and the highly anticipated Krakoa map. NetEase encourages players with limited RAM to test the new setting and share feedback as the feature remains in testing.
