Exclusive Eevee Pokémon TCG Set Launches May 16 in China
A new Pokémon TCG booster pack centered around Eevee and its evolutions is set to launch on **May 16**, but there’s a catch—it will be released **exclusively in China**.
The upcoming **”Gem 2″** booster pack features **four unique holo cards per pack**, showcasing rare and beautifully illustrated versions of Eevee and its Eeveelutions. Some cards will include special features such as **type icons, Gem 2 promotional seals, full-art V cards**, and stunning artwork by fan-favorite artist **HYOGONOSUKE**.
Eevee and its evolutions remain some of the most beloved Pokémon in the TCG, with iconic cards like **Umbreon VMAX (“Moonbreon”)** and **Sylveon EX #156** continuing to hold high value among collectors. This exclusive release is expected to be highly sought after due to limited regional availability and collectible designs.
Eevee made its TCG debut in 1999’s **Jungle** expansion, and since then, each evolution has built a strong following. The newest member of the line, **Sylveon**, joined the TCG in 2017 and has appeared on 16 different cards to date.
China began producing localized Pokémon TCG cards in **2022**, and the market is currently aligned with the **Scarlet and Violet** series. While Western fans won’t have access to Gem 2, they can look forward to the upcoming **Destined Rivals** expansion, launching on **May 30**, which revives the Trainer’s Pokémon mechanic and brings back classic Team Rocket themes.
Collectors and fans outside China may need to rely on imports or resellers if they hope to get their hands on these exclusive Eevee cards.
