Call of Duty: Warzone Senior Creative Director Ted Timmins Departs Raven Software

Ted Timmins, the Senior Creative Director of *Call of Duty: Warzone*, has announced his departure from Raven Software after four years with the studio. Timmins confirmed the news on April 15 via Twitter, marking the end of his time leading the popular free-to-play battle royale title.

Timmins joined Raven during *Warzone Caldera* and led the game through 40 seasons of content, including the integration of *Modern Warfare 3*. He was instrumental in shaping *Warzone*’s direction, especially following the challenges that came with integrating *Modern Warfare 2 (2022)*. His leadership helped steer the game toward improved quality-of-life updates and community-focused changes—many of which are now featured in the returning map, Verdansk, in Season 3 of *Black Ops 6*.

In his farewell post, Timmins reflected on what he called a “truly incredible journey” and described Verdansk’s return as the “perfect send-off.” He thanked the community for their feedback and support, and expressed confidence in *Warzone*’s future, stating its “best days” may still lie ahead.

Timmins’ exit follows a series of high-profile departures from key *Call of Duty* studios, including David Vonderhaar and Greg Reisdorf. While his next move hasn’t been revealed, the *Warzone* community has shown an outpouring of appreciation for his contributions, especially his commitment to listening to players and enhancing the game experience.
