Rare Blizzard Collab Skins Return to Overwatch 2 via Loot Boxes

Some of Overwatch 2’s rarest Blizzard collaboration skins are now back—this time through Loot Boxes in Season 16. Players now have a small chance to unlock cosmetics from past *Diablo 4* and *World of Warcraft* events, including highly sought-after skins that were once locked behind premium bundles.

Originally reintroduced in Season 15, Loot Boxes are earned through gameplay, events, and promotions like the current Season 16 Discord Quest. They contain items from both *Overwatch* games, including previous Battle Pass and shop-exclusive cosmetics.

As of Season 16, the following Blizzard crossover skins are now available as Legendary-tier drops from Loot Boxes:

**Diablo 4 (October 2023)**
– Lilith Moira
– Inarius Pharah
– Imperius Reinhardt
– Azmodan Wrecking Ball

**World of Warcraft (September 2024)**
– Lich King Reinhardt
– Sylvanas Widowmaker
– Diamond Magni Torbjorn
– Thrall Zenyatta

These additions do not include other older Blizzard exclusives like Illidan Genji or Tyrande Symmetra, nor do they cover external collabs like *One Punch Man* or *Transformers*.

While many players are excited for a second shot at these rare cosmetics, others who previously paid for them—some costing up to $40—have expressed frustration. Still, due to the low drop rates and limited number of Loot Boxes available, purchasing the skins during their original events remains the most reliable way to get them.

All Loot Boxes are automatically opened at the end of each season, so saving them won’t increase your odds of landing future returning items.
