Koei Tecmo Celebrates Record Profits Following Strong Year of Game Releases
Koei Tecmo has reported record-breaking profits for its fiscal year 2024, thanks to a packed release schedule and several high-performing titles. The Japanese publisher posted a year-on-year profit increase of 11.4%, bringing in 36.63 billion yen—around \$250 million USD.
The success comes after a busy year that saw the launch of major titles like *Rise of the Ronin* on PlayStation 5, *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, and the surprise remaster of *Ninja Gaiden 2 Black*, which dropped on Xbox Game Pass during the Developer Direct. Koei Tecmo also released smaller projects like *Warriors: Abyss*, *Atelier Yumia*, and *Venus Vacation Prism*.
With the upcoming releases of *Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound* and *Ninja Gaiden 4*, plus the announcement of *Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment* for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, Koei Tecmo is set to continue its strong momentum into the future.
