Marvel Rivals Players Report Mantis Headshot Bug
Marvel Rivals players have discovered a frustrating bug affecting Mantis’ headshot detection, making it difficult to land accurate shots on enemies. The issue has sparked community discussion and prompted calls for a fix from developer NetEase.
Mantis, a support-based Strategist in Marvel Rivals, typically uses healing and damage-boosting abilities. However, her normal attack appears to have a strange hitbox bug. According to a Reddit post by user HighlyIndecisive, an unusual area around enemy heads registers Mantis’ shots inconsistently, making headshots unreliable. A video comparison shows this issue does not affect other characters like Adam Warlock.
The post quickly gained traction with over 2,300 upvotes, with many players reporting similar experiences and urging others to report the bug via the game’s official Discord. Players say the aiming feels “off,” and some believe this may be tied directly to the hitbox glitch.
Given the importance of precise aiming in Marvel Rivals, especially in competitive matches, players hope NetEase will resolve the issue soon. The game receives regular updates, and with the last patch released April 30, fans are optimistic a fix could arrive in the near future.
