Pokemon TCG Pocket Adds Guzma Card With Powerful Tool Removal Ability
Pokemon TCG Pocket has added a highly-requested Trainer card, Guzma, in its latest expansion *Celestial Guardians*. This new card allows players to remove all Tool cards from their opponent’s active Pokemon, addressing long-standing concerns about overpowered Tool-Pokemon combos.
The *Celestial Guardians* expansion brings over 200 new cards, focusing on Gen 7 content, including Alolan forms, Trial Captains, and Legendary mascots Solgaleo and Lunala. Guzma is the first immersive Trainer card to offer Tool removal, which many players have asked for, especially to counter combos involving Darkrai ex, Weavile ex, Druddigon, and Rocky Helmet.
Players can obtain Guzma through Lunala booster packs, where it appears in three rarities:
* Regular: 2.6% (4th card), 1.6% (5th card)
* Immersive: 0.2% (4th), 0.8% (5th)
* Full Art Gold: 0.03% (4th), 0.1% (5th)
Alternatively, Guzma can be crafted with Pack Points: 70 (regular), 1,250 (full art), and 1,500 (immersive).
The expansion also introduces other immersive Trainer cards like Lillie, Lana, and Sophocles, along with new Tool cards such as Leaf Cape and Poison Barb.
