Tyranitar the Unrivaled Featured in Late March Seven-Star Tera Raid Event
*Pokemon Scarlet and Violet* players can prepare for a challenging new Seven-Star Tera Raid battle against Tyranitar, the pseudo-legendary Pokémon from the Johto region. This special event will give trainers two opportunities to battle and catch the powerful Tyranitar the Unrivaled, with valuable rewards for those who succeed.
Tyranitar, known as the Armor Pokémon, is a dual-type Rock/Dark Pokémon first introduced in *Pokemon Gold and Silver*. With its high physical attack and defense stats, Tyranitar can use devastating moves like Stone Edge, Crunch, and Earthquake. In this Tera Raid event, Tyranitar will have a Ghost Tera type, making it a formidable opponent with moves like Shadow Claw, Breaking Swipe, and Low Kick.
The Seven-Star Tera Raid battles will take place from Thursday, March 27, at 8:00 PM Eastern to Sunday, March 30, at 7:59 PM Eastern, and again the following weekend, April 3 to 6, at the same times. Trainers who defeat Tyranitar will earn the exclusive Mightiest Mark and have a chance to obtain Ghost Tera Shards and rare Herba Mystica.
Tyranitar will be level 100 and may have either Sand Stream or Unnerve as its ability. Trainers can use Pokémon like Annihilape, Ting-Lu, or Urshifu to counter Tyranitar’s high physical attack and defense. With its power and unique Tera type, Tyranitar the Unrivaled promises to be a tough but rewarding challenge for *Pokemon Scarlet and Violet* players.
