Bam Margera Confirmed as Secret Skater in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake

Developer Iron Galaxy has officially confirmed that Bam Margera will be featured in the upcoming remake of *Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4*. The fan-favorite skater and *Jackass* star will appear as a secret and unlockable character when the game launches on July 11.

Originally released in 2001 and 2002, *Pro Skater 3* and *4* are being remade following the success of *Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2* in 2020. That remake was praised for its modern visuals, faithful gameplay, and updated features. Expectations are high for the next installment.

Fans had been unsure if Margera would return, especially after he hinted in April that he might not be included. Despite his past appearances in the original games and others in the franchise, his recent personal and legal troubles led many to believe he would be left out. However, Margera noted that both he and Tony Hawk wanted him in the game, and that Activision already had motion capture data from years ago.

At the THPS Fest on May 8, Iron Galaxy revealed Margera’s return. Attendees also got a first look at campaign modes and several parks, including a new one called Waterpark. Early reactions have been positive, with fans praising the smooth gameplay and polished visuals.

*Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4* hits consoles and PC on July 11.
