  • Get a solid amount of Red Orbs before playing the game by using the same profile as the demo version.
  • Don’t waste money on Gold Orbs, you can get them easily in the game in every mission.
  • Unless you really want to do it, don’t waste red orbs on getting a continue. The price will increase for the next attempt.
  • Keep an eye out for weird markings on the floor or walls. These have to be properly lined up to unlock secret missions.
  • Play the game on the Devil Hunter difficulty for the best experience as intended by the game director.
  • Get all the basic combos unlocked for all three characters as soon as possible. This will help you get stylish rank.
  • Don’t waste red orbs on unnecessary upgrades that are purely for stylish action.
  • If you have turned it on, disable the auto-assist mode that takes away control of the combo system.
  • Explore every nook and cranny of every mission to find secrets and even red/gold orbs.
  • Keep switching combos to have the stylish ranking increasing. If you repeat combos, the rank will drop or get stuck.
  • Disable the tutorial if you have played the previous games. It doesn’t serve any purpose in the game.
  • Avoid pressing the guide button on Xbox One as it skips cutscenes.
  • Try to take the action to air by juggling enemies. It greatly helps in stylish ranking.
  • Get a sense of the story mode by completing the game. Don’t try to get S ranking right from the beginning.
  • Brace yourself for the boss fights. Enemies are easier but the real challenge is the boss that comes at the end of a mission.
  • Save gold orbs for boss fights only in case of emergency. You can always continue the fight from the start of a checkpoint.
  • Make sure to equip the Devil Breakers for Nero so that you are able to switch them during battle.
