Path of Exile 2 beta could be delayed

It looks like you will need to wait a while longer to Try Path of Exile Two ‘s beta. Developer Grinding Gear Games had hoped to get it in players’ hands this year, however, a minor improvement delay signifies that is no longer sure.

“Our initial estimate was to start a few early beta testing in late 2020,” Grinding Gear Games’ co-founder Chris Wilson tells PCGamesN. “But we are going to revise this quote as we approach it to make sure that things are prepared enough for community opinions. Rushing out it won’t benefit anybody, we think!”

What’s causing the possible delay? Wilson explains the Studio needed to pull on some of Exile 2’s development team’s Trail to prevent delays. Typically, GGG outsources some work to bureaus in Asia, but on account of the Coronavirus epidemic that is ongoing, the studio also has needed to adapt. As reported by BBC News, 78,064 individuals have been infected worldwide since the outbreak started. The death toll in mainland China is around 2,715.
