Possible Reason Why Nintendo Switch Games Are More Expensive Than Other Plaforms

The Nintendo Switch is out, however a few people are asking why Switch games are more costly than ones discharges for the Xbox One and PS4. There is an improvement explanation behind this and it’s because of the cartridges.

Eurogamer reports that they have gotten notification from a couple of sources that it costs more to create Nintendo Switch cartridges than it does to make PS4 and Xbox One game on Blu-beam plates. That is the reason games are for the most part around $10 progressively costly.

Eurogamer also says that the higher the GB, the more expensive it is. For example, making a 32GB cartridge is going to cost more to make compared to a 16GB cartridge and so on.

The report also says that many smaller developers and publishers are likely to just release their games digitally in order to cut down costs. The next time you see a Switch game being quite expensive, sadly it’s due to the cartridges that are being used.
