Hope’s Peak Academy is home to Japan’s best and brightest high school Pupils –the beacons of hope for its future. But that trust abruptly dies when Makoto Naegi along with his classmates find themselves imprisoned at the college, cut off by the external world and subject to the whims of a peculiar, murderous little bear named Monokuma. He pits the students against one another, promising liberty to anybody who can kill a fellow classmate and eliminate it.
It is your choice to find out that Monokuma is, and you’ve been taken in the world you knew. But be careful what you wish for–sometimes there is nothing more fatal than the reality.
