The Old World
This historical strategy game by Soren Johnson, the Lead Designer of Civilization IV, and Offworld Trading Company, will allow you to conquer the Old World. Each year is a turn. Every leader is just a mortal. Your lasting legacy will be your dynasty.
- LegitimacyEach ruler must prove their worthiness for the throne. Your Legitimacy will increase as you achieve Ambitions and complete Wonders. This will allow you to grant additional Orders each year, improving your reputation among the people.
- Succession
Each year in Old World is represented by a turn. The rulers are mortals and won’t live forever. They will have to marry and raise an heir to carry on their family line. The Heir takes over the throne after a ruler has died. - Events
Old World features a rich and powerful dynamic event system. It generates a procedural tale for your country based on your actions, achievements, and Characters. There are over 3,000 events in the game, many of them inspired by historical incidents. These events can trigger events such as Memories, Traits, and Relationships.

How to download and install Old World
