Welcome to the Game II is an atmospheric horror/strategy / puzzle game that takes you into the world of the deep web in search of the shadow web. What are you looking for in the shadow web? Let’s get back to the story. You are Clint Edwards, an investigative reporter working in a large metropolitan area. Your computer makes noises when you wake up after a long nap. A link has been sent to you by someone concerned about a stream. Amalea, a woman who is afraid for her life, appears on the stream.
Amalea speaks about the shadow web and says that men wearing masks are hunting her down. The stream abruptly stops when Clint tries to explain her location. Clint is intrigued by this and must continue digging to find her before it is too late. Clint doesn’t realize that the deep web isn’t a place for him to look around. It is impossible to know who else might be looking for you.
Welcome to the Game II places you in the position of saving Amalea and how to do it. To decrypt the shadow browser’s encrypted web browser, you will need to find 8 hidden hashes. This is done by running a simulated operating system on a computer. The simulated operating system comes with tools that will help you along the way. These include a web browser (A.N.N), note-taking software, and software package purchase options (zeroDAY).
