XCOM 2 War of the Chosen expansion pack is for the 2016 turn-based strategy video game XCOM 2. War of the Chosen expands XCOM 2’s campaign structure, adding new enemies, hero characters, modifiers, and additional behaviors to characters.
The expansion introduces three new enemy aliens called “The Chosen,” three elite warriors assigned by the Elders to defeat XCOM. They include the Assassin, an alien-human hybrid that can stealthily kidnap players’ soldiers from the battlefield, and the Hunter, who can use long-range rifles and summon more enemies.
