Rogue Legacy

Cellar Door Games’ 2013 platform game Rogue Legacy features roguelike elements. The goal is to explore a random dungeon and defeat four bosses within each environment. Finally, you must defeat the final boss. Characters are able to jump and slash with the sword by default. Secondary abilities such as magic attacks that use mana can also be used.

After a character dies, control will pass to one of three randomly generated inheritors. This number can be increased to six with an upgrade. Each descendant has their own unique traits and abilities. These include colorblindness (in the game the screen is black and white), ADHD, dwarfism (in the character’s ability to fit in small spaces) and dwarfism (in the character can be shorter).
