About the Job Simulator
Owlchemy Labs has published Job Simulator: 2050 Archives, a virtual reality simulation game. The job museum is a simulation of real jobs that players can take part in. It’s run by robots that look like floating CRT monitors with faces. These jobs are tongue-in-cheek resemblances of real occupations, including “Auto Mechanic”, Gourmet Chef”, Store Clerk and “Office Worker”. The computer character provides guidance and exposition, while the players do tasks related to their occupation. Some are realistic, others are comical. In the simulation of the Office Worker, for example, the players are required to evaluate new employees and transfer calls. They also have to share photos at the water fountain and take part in other office tasks.
