Pokemon GO Holiday 2021 Event – Date, Bonuses and Postcard Book & Many More
It’s the season to celebrate, and Niantic makes it easy for you to do so in Pokémon GO this December. There are special bonuses, shiny Pokemon releases, and Pokemon debuts to keep you busy over Christmas.
Pokemon GO Holiday 2021 Event Date/Time
The Winter Holiday Event will occur from 16th December at ten am (local) to 31 December at8 pm (local). Part One runs from 16th to 23rd December at10 am. (local time) and10 am. (local time). Part Two runs from December 23rd, ten am (local) to December 31st at8 pm (local).
Postcard Book Feature
The Holiday event adds a new feature. You can now pin gift locations to the Postcard Book from friends so that you will always be able to see them. You can do this with your gifts, too. These Postcards can be viewed, sorted and removed from your bag. This feature will be available at the beginning of the event.
Pokemon GO Holiday 2021 Bonus Event
A few bonuses will be available for the duration of this event. These are:
You can open up to 45 gifts each day, and you can keep as many as 40 items in your bag.
Team GO Rocket Grunts will be using more Ice and Water types
Mega Abomasnow will get a CP boost

Pokemon GO Holiday 2021 Part 1
The following Pokemon can be found in Part One:
Wild– Pikachu. Swinub. Stantler. Delibird. Snorunt. Spheal. Snover. Vanillite. Alolan Sandshrew. Cryogonal. All of these can shine, except Vanillite.
Tier1 Raids Pikachu (Alolan Sandshrew), Swinub Spheal, Cubchoo and Swinub can all be shiny.
Tier 3 Raids Cloyster and Stantler, Delibird, Glaceon all can shine apart from Cloyster.
Field Task Rewards – Pikachu Alolan Vulpix Swinub Stantler, Spheal Spheal Cubchoo, Cryogonal and all other shiny except Cryogonal
Part 2 of Pokemon GO Holiday 2021
Part 2 of the event will feature the introduction of Bergmite and its evolution Avalugg. Also, a new shiny egalitarian Darumaka and its evolutionary Darmanitan. Cubchoo will appear in a Spotlight Hour, which will take place from6–7 pmm local time on 28 December. Part Two will feature the following Pokemon:
Wild– Pikachu. Swinub. Stantler. Delibird. Spheal. Snover. Vanillite. Cubchoo. Alolan Vulpix. Cryogonal. All of these can shine, except Vanillite. Crogonal. Bergmite.
Tier1 Raids Pikachu Alolan Vulpix Spheal, Cubchoo, Galarian Darumaka and Spheal, all of which are shiny
Tier 3 Raids Lapras, Stainless, Delibirds and Glaceon can all be shiny.
7km eggs – Swinub and Cubchoo, Smoochum and Galarian Darumaka.
Field Task Rewards Pikachu. Alolan Sandshrew. Swinub. Stantler. Spheal. Cubchoo. Galatian Darumaka. All of these can be shiny.
Part Two will give you the chance to meet Mr. Rime. This previously was only possible via paid content. Two Timed Research lines will be offered, focused on friendship and catching. Mr. Rime will be the reward.
