WWE Confirm WWE Championship Plans For Elimination Chamber
WWE has announced via social media that the WWE Championship would be defended during their next Saudi premium event, Elimination Chamber. This will take place inside the Chamber. In one of the most chaotic matches in WWE history, Bobby Lashley will be up against five other challengers.
Bobby Lashley won his third WWE Championship at the 2022 Royal Rumble. He defeated Brock Lesnar following interference from Universal Champion Roman Reigns. WWE has yet to confirm any Wrestlemania-related plans for Lashley or the WWE Championship. With few clear challengers, Crown Jewel will be the best place to determine who will be challenging Lashley on the Grandest Stage.
Lashley has been arguing heads with Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Big E recently. There’s a possibility that we’ll see at least one or more of them in the Chamber match. Olmos, Randy Orton and Riddle are also possible candidates for the top spot on RAW.
The Elimination Chamber will take place in Jeddah’s Super Dome on February 19, 2019.
