Some people are prepared to spend a lot of money on their gaming sets. It’s no surprise that these items are so expensive. Have you ever seen the prices of gaming chairs at some stores? A chair is a chair. It cannot be more comfortable.

However, it doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you do it correctly. PC Gamer reports that one gamer has done it right. YouTuber BANK II spent $30,000 to build a room based on his favorite Star Citizenship. The game that’s has raised more than $400 million in crowdfunding and is only available for play in Alpha. The room is truly amazing, but I digress.

It wasn’t about just filling a room full of fancy tech, though he certainly does that. It was a complete construction project. To go all-in on the space shuttle vibes, a steel-welded frame was needed. Then, wooden panels were added. The room, which was designed to be an extension of the YouTuber’s studio, is accessed via automatic sliding doors.

The interior of the “ship” was the most expensive at $11,685 (an additional $1,700 was spent on the automatic doors). However, the gaming computer at the heart of the room was also very costly. BANKII paid $6,650 for the custom rig that houses an RTX3090. The rig also includes three 65-inch TVs as well as a 49-inch curved screen. The room also has a kitchenette with an oven, grill, and kettle. This is perfect for making snacks while gaming for long hours.

Would I recommend that you spend that much money to transform a room into an alien spaceship? Sincere reader, I don’t think so. If you do, the kettle is worth a shot.
