About Worms 2
Worms 2 is part of Team17’s Worms series. It is a 2D tactical artillery game. It was originally released in 1997 and re-released on GOG.com in 2012. The game is turn-based. Each team moves in a random sequence on two-dimensional terrain. A team can only move one worm per turn. Worms are able to crawl and jump and can also swing by parachute, ninja-rope, and teleport if the right items are available.
In a traditional match or campaign mission, the objective is to eliminate all opposing teams’ worms. [citation needed] Each round begins with a set amount of health. This can be predefined either by choosing game options or scripting in campaign levels. The weapon used to hit a worm can cause it to lose its health. This depends on how powerful the weapon is and the impact of the hit. You can either reduce a worm’s health to zero or knock it into the water below its level.
