Single-player campaigns allow players to take on different characters, changing the narrative perspective. They are SOG/SAD agents who conduct covert operations in enemy territory. The characters have their own psychological forms and traits.
The HUD displays a list of missions, with the first one appearing at the upper left corner of the screen. The objectives tell the player in which direction to go and how far to travel to achieve an objective. The moment the player reaches a specific control point is displayed alongside the objective.
You will be accompanied during most of the missions by allies who help you with the mission. They can provide defensive fire and knock down enemy soldiers, move grenades, or clear rooms to allow them entry. During certain sequences, you will have the opportunity to fly a Bell UH-1 helicopter or a Hind aircraft with complete freedom of movement.
You can also briefly pilot an SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance plane. The campaign is divided into several scripts. These are predefined sequences of events that are activated based on the actions taken by the players. They are shown as cinematic moments. Bullet time is one of the scripts that is used in several missions.
In the campaign, there are four difficulty levels that the player can choose from. These appear when the game starts or when a randomly selected mission is chosen. The player can choose to lower the difficulty at any time in the single-player mode. For example, when the player has reached the “Tanned” level, it will be reduced to “Professional”.
