After her parents’ tragic deaths, Fran was comforted only by Mr. Midnight the cat. Dr. Marcel Deern prescribed Fran an anti-shock pill which caused even further shock – instead of helping, however, Fran began hallucinating wildly and became paranoid about every little detail around her life.
Little Fran felt overwhelmed in an asylum and decided to flee for her safety, only for it all to become unbearably stressful and turn into a nightmare with bloodshed filling the place as well as strange voices, figures, shadows and shadowy figures that began haunting her dreams one evening. Killmonday Games released this horror game which turned Little Fran’s escape plan into something far worse.
Fran travels deep into the forest searching for her one and only family; upon an unexpected fall she turns into a tree, becoming lost within ithersta, an alternate universe where harmony reigns supreme. A giant skeletal creature called Itward quickly recognizes Fran and helps her reach back home again.
