Red Dead Redemption 2 mod allows players to forgo crime and seek legitimate work opportunities instead.
Red Dead Redemption 2 mods introduce an entirely different way of playing the game – that of hard laboring for an honest day’s pay.
Rockstar Games should take some responsibility for abandoning Red Dead Redemption 2 so quickly, after only making minor updates to Red Dead Online mode and switching focus towards Grand Theft Auto Online development and Grand Theft Auto VI production.
Modding community have been hard at work adding features and changes that players have been asking for since the game first released five years ago; one such mod allows you to put down your weaponry and pursue real jobs instead.
The Jobs – Expanded And Enhanced mod adds six jobs that players can apply for across various areas of the game via job boards. While previous mods put players into roles such as bounty hunter or sheriff, this one aims to give back more to the community through giving opportunities like volunteerism instead.
Players have several roles they can choose to be: chauffeur, ranch hand, pest control officer, wagon protector, postman or dock worker. Each task entails its own specific playstyle: for instance transporting and protecting passengers to various parts of the map while keeping away animals present or simply delivering people’s mail to homes in town.
While they might not offer quite the same excitement of hunting down various criminals or making your fortune illegally, side quests provide a welcome change of pace towards the end of a game when there’s little else going on besides main missions, sidequests and collectables.
Additionally, Red Dead Redemption remake speculation continues apace, leading many people to question its existence and timing of release. There have also been growing worries that its remake might follow in the footsteps of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy- Definitive Edition that somehow worsened three classic GTA titles.
