Starfield Hardware requirement causes PC gamers to be extremely worried

The latest StarfieldPC specifications have raised some concern, as many fans fear they may not be able play the game in its intended manner.

Starfield is available for Xbox Series X/S, PC and Windows 7 on September 6. You can pre-order the game to play it earlier. However, some PC players are just now discovering a hardware requirement.

Bethesda has recently released Starfield requirements for Steam. You’ll require a powerful PC in order to play the game at its highest settings. It’s not surprising that this is the case. What is, is that The game will most likely be an awful stuttering mess because of the amount data needed to be loaded while moving around the world,” a Reddit user observed in the Starfield Subreddit. Hard drives are just not fast enough to deal with the data that modern games use.

One adds, “I’m sorry man. It will likely be an actual requirement. An HDD is a bad idea.”

We’d be surprised if Starfield performed better on an HDD. But we will have to wait. Now, PC players without an SSD might start to think about upgrading.
