With the release of Starfield getting closer the fans are eager to experience the highly-anticipated sci-fi action RPG. However, it appears that some players are willing to go to nefarious levels to obtain the game.

Starfield is more than 20 years in the making which is why it’s no surprise that the Bethesda RPG has been on the list of purchases for numerous Xbox as well as PC players. The Xbox Series X|S is deprived of the constant stream of top-of-the-line first-party exclusives, and Starfield is the title which fans have been waiting for.

Recently, it was confirmed that Starfield is now gold meaning that it has completed its last phase in development, and it is now able for retail distribution. However, as is the case that modern gaming is a challenge there is a chance for to see a number of post-launch improvements to work out previously unimagined kinks, as Bethesda will strive to create Starfield its most stable launch.

The game will be played in a matter of days depending on the version Starfield that you have pre-ordered depending on the version you pre-order, you may start playing in about a week. There are some who can’t stand waiting all that long and turn to illegal methods.

As per Kotaku, Darin Harris uploaded 45 minutes of Starfield game play online following the acquisition of the game’s first copy, before selling copies of the game to fellow players. There is no confirmation yet which source these copies come from.

Harris is now being investigated for felony crimes. Harris was charged by the Shelby County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office today, just four days after the video of a 45-minute game was posted to YouTube (which was later taken off).

According to the Sheriff’s office website details that the charge of felony is between $2,500 and $10,000 of stolen property. There is also the misdemeanour charge is one hundred dollars for storing stolen property, and another misdemeanour charge of possessing marijuana.

Starfield is scheduled to release on the 6th of September 6, 2023, for PC as well as Xbox Series X|S. Unless you’ve pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation Edition. If you have, your launch date is September. Starfield is also available for Xbox Game Pass.
