God Of War Ragnarok has been widely recognized as being among the top titles available for PlayStation 5.
No sooner had 2016 ended than gamers had chosen their PlayStation 5 game of the year – God of War Ragnarok was chosen! Again, my lack of suspenseful writing wouldn’t change these results anyhow; so enough about me; let’s focus on one of PS5’s key titles so far: God of War Ragnarok
Before anyone starts whining that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 should top or at least rank amongst these movies, the gamers of Reddit have already chosen. Even though other superhero characters received votes as well as Spiderman himself, but ultimately it was Zeus himself who stole the spotlight.
Since 2005 when God of War premiered, Kratos has earned worldwide respect as everyone’s favorite moody god. From there on out he’s grown stronger while his parenting may remain under debate (but Kratos may just beat Spider-Man).
After learning that GoW was coming to PS5, many fans took immediate steps towards purchasing one just so they could experience its epic tale set against Norse mythology. One user admitted, “I bought a PS5 specifically so I can play Ragnarok after having played GoW on PC,” while another declared, “GoW is on another level than all others!” In conclusion, some said they preferred games such as GoW, R&C [Rachet & Clank], S2 [Marvel’s Spider-Man 2], Horizon as their go-to selection.
Fans’ suggested top games generally overlap, with minor modifications like placing Spidey before Horizon but after Rachet & Clank; basically just minor differences of opinion. One post that stood out, though, was from DistinctEditor3081 who boldly and daringly advocated Rachet & Clank as their choice PS5 title! Not necessarily what I would have chosen myself but nonetheless admirable!
Which game have been the stand-outs so far? Perhaps there’s one we have overlooked that should not even have come under consideration? Neither ourselves, nor Redditors seem to recognize its existence!
