Sony PlayStation Plus free games have been made available beginning January 2024.
While January marks a start of another year for most, most are eagerly awaiting January 1 for another batch of PlayStation Plus titles to arrive!
2023 marked a dramatic price hike across all PlayStation Plus tiers and included numerous new benefits – some controversial such as cloud streaming for premium users and Sony Pictures Core catalogue; however, free game offerings did not impress greatly at that time; but hopefully this can change by 2024!
Based on today’s free game lineup announcement, it appears to be quite promising: Nobody Saves The World, A Plague Tale: Requiem and Evil West are set as free PlayStation Plus titles in January 2024.
Nobody Saves The World is a pleasant surprise on PlayStation Plus each month; although it might not appear to offer AAA experience as many expect from PlayStation Plus titles, its charming dungeon crawling gameplay and fun ideas makes for a worthwhile playthrough that should definitely not be overlooked. Give this gem of a game a chance before giving up hope on it altogether!
A Plague Tale: Requiem is quite unlike Nobody Saves The World in that it dares to ask itself the question “what if The Last Of Us Part 2 wasn’t miserable enough”. Be warned; this game can be truly distressful at times; yet still extremely entertaining if you have enough courage.
Evil West is an impressive Wild West-flavored horror shooter which should keep you amused for quite some time – although maybe not quite what many were hoping for in 2024, I believe. Still a very positive beginning.
