Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (PES 2009, also known in the game as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2009 in Korea and Japan) is a soccer video game within the Pro Evolution Soccer series, developed by Konami.

The gameplay has changed in comparison to previous versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, including key improvements to the Teamvision method, with tactics changing depending on the situation, off-the-ball ability, and AI-recognizing strategies that accumulate the data continuously in Master League and League modes.

A further new feature is adjustments for ball movement, using new air resistance calculations to determine the direction in which the ball travels. Also, new friction procedures that alter the movement of the ball in light of the ground condition, and backspin techniques are calculated to ensure that balls slow down accordingly. the ball’s bounce can be utilized more efficiently as players can flick the ball to set up an attempt or raise it above a player’s leading leg.

PES 2009 comes with an entirely new mode of play called “Become a Legend Similar to the ‘Be a Pro’ mode in the EA Sports FIFA Series.
